Commissioned by the Carr Foundation and the Government of Mozambique, this documentary explores the competing visions of Gorongosa National Park’s future. The park–at the center of the recent civil war–was largely destroyed. Gorongosa examines the conflict between social development and conservation in Southern Africa.
